happy birthday to me

the week has finally ended. phew. it was a seriously massive week. it started from Monday and there was something on EVERY single night. had heaps of fun, enjoyed every night but was seriously drained out after everything.


not to mention that vince was in town again so he was in on the celebrations as well.

Monday night
Dinner w Vince at Quan Ju De (peking duck place). food was so-so. 5/10
He told me that his colleagues mentioned that cookie was a pretty nice bar and that maybe we should check it out. I was quite tired so wasn't all that keen but went anyways.
Arrived at Cookie and started looking for a seat. As I was maneuvering around sussing out a spot, I suddenly see monny and I thought, what a coincidence! I was about to say hi when suddenly I see bang and my hsemate at the table as well. It was a funny combination as my housemate wouldn't normally be hanging out with them and next thing I realise, there was a cake on the table. hehehe. so yes, mission surprise eunice was a success.

Tuesday
Had mini b'day celebrations at work. They bought a passionfruit tart cake. super yumm!

Dinner at Sung's kitchen with Wei and Vince. yummy as usual. had chilli crab - FREAKING good.

Thursday night

Dinner at Kenzan with Vince, Tuanh and Caroline.
Met Monny, Bang and Ken at Shark Fin Inn for supper/drinks. Monny passed and is a graduate!!!! CONGRATS!

Friday night
Dinner at Shark Fin Inn (again). Went to Se7en. Massive, crazy night.

Saturday
Finally got a chance to sleep in after all the late nights and early work mornings. Went to Footscray for yummy pho, shopped around in the city.
Dinner at Matteo's.

Yarra Valley

went to Yarra Valley for some lunch and wine tasting over da weekend.... perfect weather for some wine and greenery...

I saw again the other day. It still hurts but not as much anymore. I guess I am slowly healing, which is good... It's heartbreaking to see/hear/know but when things are facts and are laid in front of your eyes, there is only so much you can do to avoid it. Keep running? Keep pretending? Keep dreaming? or Keep hoping? There comes a time when everything has been said and done. And even hope dwindles away. Like a candle burning out, the flame slowly flickers away and takes the light away. All there is left is your own will to get out of the darkness.
