tt cold winter chill

winter has well and truly descended upon melbourne. it's been averaging 10-15 degrees the past two weeks - with some night dipping till 6 degrees! its so cold that we're wearing socks at home and all the thermals and winter jackets are brought out.

so in order to prep for winter, we went coat shopping! hehehe

was going to go for the magenta/black version before i noticed the last pair of grey/black ones left. magenta/black would have been cool too but the grey/black is obv easier to wear.

yay winter! cept for the blistering cold when u're out though. we seriously felt like weeping on fri night. was 8 degrees and the wind was howling! BRRR....

mid week R therapy

i found out today that my canon camera cannot be fixed. sighs. it was dropped by a friend two months ago and canon told me that because it was a damage on the user's part they will not fix it. *grumbles grumbles* and the camera is barely six months old!!!! SIGHS.

oh wells.

but lucky, there was VIP shopping tonight to save the day.

the elusive i

about four months ago, i got this phone

The E71.

It is an awesome phone, does everything i want and expect it to and is a dream to use.

Before getting this phone, I was tossing up between this and the iphone. I eventually went for the E71 (evidently) and did not regret making that decision. However, I am still intrigued by the iphone and hope to get one sometime down the road.

Two days ago, I got a call from dear ol' Optus. They were trying to retain me as a customer and get me to sign a new contract seeing as my contract was expiring next month.

and guess what's on offer?

 

yes, the delicious, yummy iphone. WHYYYYYYY tempt me when I made my decision alreadyyyyy.

it is soooooo tempting to sign the contract and just get the phone since I don't mind being on contract anyways. BUT, it seems so wasteful and frivolous to get ANOTHER phone within less than six months!!!!

sighs.
