Bday has started early!

That time of the year has secretly snuck up on me again. Another year has passed, another year of fulfilment and wisdom (I hope!). I have been blessed to have so many wonderful people and things around me and can only thank whoever's out there for taking care of me.

Anyhoo, bdays are also of course, excuses for consumerism. The founder of capitalism must have thought of this excellent idea. Why not get ppl to celebrate their bdays by spending and buying heaps of stuff? Unfortunately I was brought up in a time of capitalism and it cannot hold any more true for me. Hehe.
